when i was a kid we spend many of our Easters / Xmas-Newyears and such in Palawan or western Mindoro, Philippines. Our ‘resorts’ of choice had no electricity (but running water), and were night-lit by kerosine lamps.  this would do the trick, though. Next gen shizz.
